An exquisite antique bangle from the mid 19th Century exhibiting a detailed colour portrait in the centre skilfully replicating the famous Renaissance painting “Portrait of a young woman” by Piero and Antonio del Pollaiuolo from the 1400s.
The workmanship on the bracelet is simply exquisite, very well executed with high relief cannetille craftsmanship which decorates the face and the entirety of the band which is secured with a slide pin clasp at the back. It’s in pristine condition and displays a wonderful work of art.
